Seo Jae-deok (35) of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) is one of the strikers representing Korean men's volleyball.

The national team is responsible for the attack with a hot left-handed apogit spiker, and the team plays as an outside heater with outstanding defense capabilities. Due to his versatility, he has recently transformed into Libero and is playing as the offense is not easy due to his poor back condition.

Korea Electric Power Corp., which failed to advance to volleyball this spring, is actively fostering young players for the future of the team. Rookie striker Yoon Ha-joon is gaining many opportunities in the process, while Seo Jae-deok made his debut as a libero in the match against KB Insurance on April 28, and Woori Card also kept the court as a libero in the match against KB Insurance on April 5.

Like a "volleyball guru," the more you play against an unfamiliar position, the better you get. The match against KB Insurance recorded 25.93 percent of receiving efficiency (receiving within one meter) on April 28 when it made its debut as a libero player, and the match against Woori Card increased it to 41.18 percent on April 5.
Seo Jae-deok said on the 5th, "Actually, we missed a lot of balls. Today's game is worth 50 points," adding, "We have to do better. We will just do our best in every game."

Already in his mid-30s, Seo tries to be helpful to his team somehow. "Libero is fun because I'm doing something new. Still, I shouldn't cause any damage to my team. When I join the court, I have to do my best. I am focusing on winning no matter what."

A veteran player who used to be a striker often works part-time as a libero. Kwak Seung-seok (copyright) has also turned into a libero player this season.

Seo Jae-duk said, "Rivero is struggling because he moves in the opposite direction with the striker, but it feels easy because he doesn't attack and serve. He is doing better than I thought." 바카라

Seo Jae-deok's transformation into Libero began with director Kwon Young-min's recommendation. He said, "I'm not getting better after my back is twisted, but the director said, 'Why don't you try Libero?' I came this far because I thought I had to follow the part that the coach wanted."

Since he has so much experience in every field, there is nothing nervous about a new position. "I'm not even nervous now because I think I'm old," Seo said with a smile. "That's my strength as a veteran. I focus more on important moments because I don't get nervous, and I don't make mistakes."

With Seo Jae-duk playing as a libero, KEPCO will be able to test out various strikers at the end of this season. "It's not a concession. I'm not a concession," Seo said, waving his hands at the word "concession."

"Yoon Ha-joon has often shown good attacks. As a member of the team, I will do my best wherever I can help him," he said.

"I think I can play until I am 45 years old because I am not attacking while playing as a libero," Seo said jokingly. "My goal is to play as much as I can on the court as I can until I retire. As a player, my goal is to play as much as I can."
